College Connect Update and Outage

College Connect will soon undergo a transformation to provide you with a better user experience. Effective Jan. 26, 2026, you can expect a new look and feel on the College Connect website.

Many of the changes that are coming into effect are a result of usability testing sessions that took place, where a number of registrants provided feedback regarding their user experience in College Connect.

To complete this update, there will be a system outage during which College Connect will be inaccessible, from Jan. 16 to Jan. 26, 2026. 

You can expect to see the following enhancements as a result of this transformation:

  • A simple, new domain name which is changing to: CollegeConnect.net
  • An intuitive layout where you can view every step of the process as you navigate your application — this is particularly helpful on mobile devices
  • The introduction of a progress bar so you can see exactly how much of your application has been completed at any given time
  • Performance improvements for a faster overall experience
  • Passwordless accounts with multifactor authentication for increased security and an easier sign-in process.
    • Note: you will receive a verification code via email to log in to your College Connect account moving forward. Registrants should use a personal email address rather than a work email address to ensure access is available anytime, from anywhere. 

During the outage, all College Connect services will be unavailable. To help prepare for the outage, you may wish to complete any of the following prior to Jan. 16:

  • Download your digital permit.
  • Complete any in progress applications (the CRNA’s customer service team will not be able to update your application during this outage).
  • Complete profile updates, including name changes or employment history.
  • Request verifications of registration, if required.
