Project Manager
At the CRNA, we are dedicated to advancing regulatory excellence and strengthening the Nurse Practitioner program. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead the development of a strategic roadmap and execution strategy for the program.
In collaboration with the Regulatory Initiatives team, this position will play a key role in defining project priorities, developing structured implementation plans, and ensuring alignment with CRNA’s regulatory objectives. In partnership with internal partners, the roadmap will define the scope of the Nurse Practitioner program and its key components, divide the program into structured projects with clear deliverables, identify resources requirements, project costs, timelines and schedule and ensure all initiatives align with the CRNA's strategic and regulatory goals.
This is a six-month contract position with a potential for extension.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate Extensively: Partner with the Regulatory Initiatives team to identify critical work supporting the Nurse Practitioner program. Through facilitation, guide discussions and gather insights to ensure the roadmap addresses key needs.
- Workplan & Resource Management: Leverage your project management expertise to develop a detailed roadmap that defines project scope, resource needs, costs and realistic timelines.
- Execution Strategy Mastermind: Design a structured implementation plan for each project, ensuring alignment with the Nurse Practitioner program’s objectives.
- Hands-on Delivery: Play an active role in producing key deliverables that support the roadmap and execution strategy.
What You Possess
Education
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field.
- An active Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification is preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale strategic projects in complex environments.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in creating, managing, and delivering detailed strategic roadmaps, including scope definition, resource allocation and timeline management.
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage resources and ensure successful project delivery.
- Risk Management: Skilled in identifying project risks and developing effective strategies for risk mitigation.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with diverse partners.
- Process Improvement: Strong ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements for better workflow.
- Strategic Vision: Experience in developing long-term roadmaps that align with organizational goals, encompassing resource needs, costs and timelines.
- Adaptability & Organization: Ability to manage competing priorities, stay organized and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Health Partner Engagement: Understanding of key health partners and interested parties, such as post-secondary institutions, government entities and regulators.
- Team Building & Positive Culture: Committed to fostering a positive, collaborative work environment and contributing to team success.
What We Offer
- This is a six-month contract position starting March 2025 through Sept. 30, 2025, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
- Work environment is remote/hybrid.
- 7.25 hours per day from Monday through Friday.
